Republicans and Democrats, What is the Actual Difference.

The differences that can't seem to be bridged. We need a whole new government with new, free-thinking, intelligent, diversified people at the helm. We keep repeating the same ineffective politics...that IS the definition of insanity!

Origin of the Democratic and Republican parties

The Democratic Party traces its origins to the Anti federalist factions before America’s independence from British rule. These factions were organized into the Democrat – Republican party by Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and other influential opponents of the Federalists in 1792.

The Republican party is the younger of the two parties. Founded in 1854 by anti-slavery expansion activists and modernizers, the Republican Party rose to prominence with the election of Abraham Lincoln, the first Republican president.

Interesting fact on Thomas Jefferson: He was a deist, he believed there is a God, but this God is distant and does not interfere with His Creation. Jefferson is known for having removed from the Bible big portions he did not want to believe. He was left with a very slim book. Jefferson would probably be considered a genius in todays world. He was eccentric and definitely a free-thinker, which we all know many christians believe that “free thinkers” are the devil’s property and voice! Jefferson had a beautiful, scientific mind. He was an eccentric free thinker and a deist. One particularly interesting belief that Thomas Jefferson had was he DID espouse separation of church and state, which I think should still continue today, and so do our founding fathers! FREEDOM is just a word to our current politicians. We all know that freedom is a pipe dream as we drive to jobs we hate, pay bills we hate, pay taxes we hate, and die days after we retire!
